2 Tim 3:1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. Paul is telling Timothy of the last days spoken of in Scripture. He could be describing a number of passages in the Tanakh here, but he is mostly focusing on Daniel 11. The vision starts with a visit from a messenger in Daniel 10. Paul knew this. Peter says we are called to follow in the footsteps of Yeshua and follow Torah. 1 Peter 2:20-21 For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God. 21For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps,
