God would love it if we would grow up to the place and be so filled with the Word of God that the Word itself bridles our tongue. Hebrews 13:8 KJV Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. None of us have a problem believing that. What we do have a problem with is that He will do that from within us. "Christ in us" is the mystery of the gospel. "The anointed One in us" is the truth we must believe. We are the temple of God. We are going to leave the "mark" where Jesus set it. Jesus wants a harvest within the church. Church attendance is not enough. Giving in the offering is not enough. Singing the worship songs is not enough. Is Jesus in your house? The time has been fulfilled. The king is in you. The kingdom is within you. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is upon you. It is time for us to repent and change how we are thinking and believe the gospel of the kingdom, no matter our emotions or our current circumstances. We are believers. Feed the written word of God into you. It is your necessary food to feed your spirit. Learn to be led by the Holy Spirit. Spend much time in prayer, in worship, in the Word and in fasting. God has given us dominion over our time. No matter how busy you are, there are times in your day where it is your choice whether you are going to yield your body, your time, your mind … to the Holy Spirit for the transformation process. It is important to remember that we are not battling against people. In fact, we are to constantly be loving the people, forgiving their trespasses, laying down our life for them, while we use the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, to tear down strongholds and share the good news of the gospel with them. Sometimes love speaks very harshly (you brood of vipers, you whitewashed tombstones) but we always speak the truth in love. We are always on a search and rescue mission.
