Ultimate Tournament: Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 (Intro, Rules, and Bracket Randomizing)

Welcome to the Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 Tournament! This video will show the rules, as well as the beginning brackets for the 1st round Quick note: these rules and the round layout will also be in the description (RULES FOR THE TOURNAMENT) This tournament will contain every character and transformation, with each counting as a separate character, totaling in 100 characters! Since this doesn't split into a tournament bracket correctly, we will have 2 match types: 1v1's, and 3 way dances. Before we look at match types, One thing to note is this is a double elimination tournament, so every competitor will get a 2nd chance, but also will be rewarded for holding their lives. This is seen in how competitors who get knocked out earlier, have to fight more battles in the loser bracket, while those knocked out later start much higher up in the losers bracket. Another thing to note is that the person who is never sent to the losers bracket, will have an extreme advantage in the final battle. The match types also tie into the double elimination factor, so lets look at them. A 1v1 will consist of two contenders, fighting in a best of three. This can either end in a 2 round sweep or go the full 3 for a decider. The winner moves up a round, while the loser is knocked into the loser brackets, wherever that may be depending on how far they have made it. A 3 way dance is much different. In a 3 way, participants will fight in a mini round robin, with 3 single matches taking place, fighter #1 vs #2, #2 vs #3, and then #3 vs #1. Whoever beat both opponents, will go up 2 SPOTS, skipping an entire round! Whoever placed last will drop to the losers bracket they have made it to, same as if they lost a 1v1. Whoever got 2nd will have the same outcome, except they start +1 up on the losers bracket, as well as wherever they have made it to, skipping a losers bracket round. Note: if a 3 way dance ends in a 3 way stalemate, the set will restart, with this repeating until someone gets 2 wins in single round robin. Once in the losers bracket, losses result in outage, even if its 2nd place in a 3way dance. 1st in a 3 way dance will still take you an extra round. Risk vs reward. It is complicated and different, but extremely fair and calculated. It only is like this as the 100 participants would leave certain people having to work harder than others in brackets or just being excluded in general. This way everyone gets a equal shot, and we can see who the best is. Both the winner of the Ld 8 3way, and Losers winner are open to elimination. So if this champions round ends with winners knocking out both opponents, he wins everything. If it ends with the winner being 2nd place, he still gets a rematch 1v1 against whoever beat him, while 3rd place goes. If the 3way ends with him on the bottom, the bracket resets back to a 3way... except now whoever got 2nd place before is on a mercy rule 24/7; they must defeat the undefeated one again, and the 3way winner twice to be victorious. If the previous 3way winner takes out both again, he wins everything, and if the champion wins it all, same deal. If a stalemate occurs, then all are reset to an equal level, until someone wins. Convoluted, yes, but all to spice it up. Now we will randomize our order for fighters. (Note, I will also randomize who goes in what match type on my own, just due to how the bracket randomizer produces a uneven bracket, and because of how long it takes.)
