Starring Kang Ha-neul, Yoo Hae-jin and Park Hae-joon this is a tale of a betrayed informant, a ruthless prosecutor and a disgruntled detective, and promises to be one of the best movies of 2025. This absorbing movie is based on two real-life notable Go players Cho Hun-hyun and Lee Chang-ho. It follows their master-student relationship as it turns into an epic rivalry. "Korea's top Soju company is about to fall...". Big Deal is a 2025 South Korean drama film (Korean: 소주전쟁) directed by Choi Yoon-jin. The film stars Yoo Hae-jin, Lee Je-hoon, Son Hyun-joo, and Choi Young-joon. Set in 1997, when the Asian financial crisis hit Korea, Gukbo, the number one Soju company is on the brink of bankruptcy. In the high-stakes market of M&A, In-beom (LEE Je-hoon), a young ambitious associate at global investment firm Solquin, heads back home to take Gukbo as his first target. Hiding his greediness, In-beom approaches Jong-rok (YOO Hai-jin), an executive loyal to Gukbo, as an innocent consultant aiming to rehabilitate Gukbo.
