Man from Atlantis was an American science fiction television series that aired on NBC from 1977 to 1978, starring Patrick Duffy as Mark Harris. Mark Harris is an amnesiac with amphibious abilities who explores the ocean in a submarine. The series also starred Belinda Montgomery as Dr. Elizabeth Merrill.
Mark Harris possesses superhuman underwater strength, agility, and can withstand deep ocean pressures. The series started with four TV movies in early 1977 before becoming a weekly series. The weekly series ran for 13 episodes during the 1977–78 season. The primary antagonist was Mr. Schubert, played by Victor Buono.
Although it had a short run in the US, the series was popular internationally. Patrick Duffy later gained prominence for his role in Dallas.
