Man from Atlantis is a 1977 American science fiction superhero television series starring Patrick Duffy as Mark Harris, an amnesiac survivor believed to be the last citizen of the lost city of Atlantis. The show is well-remembered for its unique premise, the "dolphin kick" swimming style, and its status as a cult classic of 1970s television. The story begins when an unconscious man is washed ashore after a violent storm. Rescued by Dr. Elizabeth Merrill, he is discovered to have extraordinary aquatic adaptations. Abilities: Mark Harris can breathe underwater, withstand the crushing pressures of the deep ocean, and possesses superhuman strength and speed in the water.
