Controversial uncut version of the Golden Earring song "When The Lady Smiles", taken from their album N.E.W.S from 1984. Seems tamer today, but back then caused some outrage - but is a great song, and as all the MV's from the band are - is very effective. Second track by "Golden Earring" for tonight - this is a much earlier show, from 1984 - not live but playback, as was usually the case on American Bandstand. The song is "Clear Night Moonlight", taken from their 17th studio album "N.E.W.S.", and was the third of four tracks from that album that were released as singles. Taken from the fabulous show by Golden Earring in Köln, Germany during 2007 - this is the brilliant "Twilight Zone", with some masterful guitar work by Barry and George. Taken from their 16th studio album "Cut" - this is for sure one of my favourite tracks by them - and what a performance. Blistering stuff.
