56 Days is an upcoming American erotic thriller television series developed by Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher and is based on Catherine Ryan Howard's novel of the same name. The series is executive produced by James Wan for Amazon Prime Video and stars Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia. The series is scheduled to premiere on February 18, 2026, and will consist of eight episodes.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an upcoming animated adventure comedy film based on the 2007 video game Super Mario Galaxy and Nintendo's broader Mario franchise. The sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), it is being directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and written by Matthew Fogel. Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, and Kevin Michael Richardson reprise their roles, while Benny Safdie and Brie Larson join the cast. It is being produced by Illumination and Nintendo. In the film, Mario and Luigi meet Yoshi and join Princess Peach and Toad on an adventure into outer space to face off against Bowser's son, Bowser Jr.

Tuner is a 2025 thriller film directed by Daniel Roher from a screenplay by Roher and Robert Ramsey. It stars Leo Woodall, Dustin Hoffman, Havana Rose Liu, Jean Reno, Lior Raz, and Tovah Feldshuh. It had its world premiere at the 52nd Telluride Film Festival on August 30, 2025. It is scheduled to be released in the United States on May 22, 2026, by Black Bear Pictures.

Euphoria Season 3 is set to premiere on HBO and Max on April 12, 2026, featuring an 8-episode, post-high school, five-year time jump. Production for the anticipated season, which will explore adulthood and redemption, wrapped in late 2025. Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord is an upcoming American animated television series created by Dave Filoni for the streaming service Disney+. It is part of the Star Wars franchise, taking place after the events of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008–2020), and follows former Sith lord Maul during the reign of the Galactic Empire. Sam Witwer voices Maul, reprising his role from The Clone Wars and other Star Wars media, with Gideon Adlon, Wagner Moura, and Richard Ayoade also providing voices. Maul – Shadow Lord was announced in April 2025, a year after Witwer joined to provide insight on the character as well as his voice. The series is produced by Lucasfilm Animation, with Matt Michnovetz as head writer, Brad Rau as supervising director, and Filoni, Michnovetz, Rau, Athena Yvette Portillo, Carrie Beck, and Josh Rimes as executive producers. It tells a serialized story and explores questions about Maul that Filoni and Witwer discussed while working on previous series. The animation, provided by CGCG, Inc. and Lucasfilm Animation's internal team, has a similar style to The Clone Wars but is more stylized, reflecting Maul's character and the setting of the planet Janix. The 10-episode series is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on April 6, 2026, with two episodes being released each week until May 4.

The film is being directed by Travis Knight, and written by Chris Butler, Aaron and Adam Nee, and Dave Callaham. Nicholas Galitzine stars as Prince Adam / He-Man, who returns to his home planet Eternia to save it from the evil forces of Skeletor, played by Jared Leto. Camila Mendes, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Charlotte Riley, and Idris Elba also star. Masters of the Universe is scheduled to be released in the United States and Canada on June 5, 2026, by Amazon MGM Studios under its Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer label, and internationally by Sony Pictures Releasing International

Supergirl is an upcoming American superhero film based on the eponymous character from DC Comics. Directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira, it will be the second film in the DC Universe (DCU). Milly Alcock stars as Kara Zor-El / Supergirl, alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa. In the film, Supergirl travels across the galaxy on a murderous quest for revenge. It is produced by James Gunn and Peter Safran of DC Studios. A film featuring Supergirl entered development as part of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) franchise in August 2018, and the character was introduced in the 2023 film The Flash, portrayed by Sasha Calle. Plans for the standalone project were altered when Gunn and Safran became co-CEOs of DC Studios in October 2022. A new Supergirl film was announced in January 2023 as an adaptation of the 2021–22 comic book miniseries Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow by Tom King and Bilquis Evely. Nogueira was hired by November 2023; Alcock was cast in January 2024 to debut in the first DCU film, Superman (2025); and Gillespie joined that May. Filming took place from January to May 2025 at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden and London in England, and in Scotland.

The Bride! is an upcoming American gothic crime film written, co-produced, and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal. The film stars Jessie Buckley, Christian Bale, Peter Sarsgaard, Annette Bening, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Penélope Cruz. The film draws inspiration from the 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein directed by James Whale, itself inspired by the 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley. The Bride! is scheduled to be released in the United States by Warner Bros. Pictures on March 6, 2026.

Night Patrol is a 2025 American horror thriller film starring Jermaine Fowler, Justin Long, Freddie Gibbs, RJ Cyler, YG, Nicki Micheaux, Flying Lotus, Phil Brooks, and Dermot Mulroney. Directed by Ryan Prows, the film is about an L.A. cop who must put aside his differences after finding a task force who harbor a secret that endangers the residents of the housing projects he grew up in. It world premiered at Fantastic Fest on September 19, 2025, and was released in the United States on January 16, 2026, by RLJE Films.
