Bill Walsh College Football (SCD - 1993)

There is no season mode. You can play a single game in Exhibition mode, a 16-team tournament with the other 15 schools randomly chosen from 24 of the top teams from 1992, or a 16-team playoff chosen from 24 "all-time" teams from 1978-1991. If you don't want to watch me cycle through all the available teams, skip to 3:24 where I choose to play as the University of Hawaii. The connection between my Genesis and Sega CD must not have been as good as it should have been, causing the graphical glitch from 31:14 to 32:33. Pressing them together (although they seemed to be snug) fixed the issue. -- The first round is in snowy Honolulu, HI against the University of Michigan. The only player I recognize from Hawaii is P/K Jason Elam. The only other player to play in the NFL is DE Maa Tanuvasa. Playing through the other main mode, the All-Time Playoffs, I chose the '80 Pitt Panthers. 1982 was the first year UCLA played their home games at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. This game was rather annoying to play, with the teams having nearly identical uniforms. I didn't really pay much attention to football until the 1990s, so I don't recognize many players on either team. While multiple players from Pitt have been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, the only one I recognize is Dan Marino. The only other player on the Panthers' roster I know of is Mark May, but only because of his tenure with ESPN.
