My Japanese Video Game Collection 152 Gran Turismo
thecchannelIt's a real driving simulation/racing game. I've never played this game before so you have to bare with me on this one. You get to choose a car maker to play with but there is no Ford so fuck this game already. Anyway if you need to advance in the game you need to get licenses to earn better money and parts for your car. This is the best-selling Playstation game of all time and today it still lives up to the hype. From freshman year to after high school graduation I stilled played the playstation and at my senior year I got a PS1 with the small screen which is pretty cool. The playstation 1 will always be my favorite console in the playstation world. (I'm more into nintendo and sega.) Despite the fact we now have PS5 but it doesn't matter to me because the PS1 will always be my choice of playstation.100 views -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 151 DX Jinsei Game 2: The Game Of life
thecchannelIt's pretty much a video board game of life. You get cutscenes, angel and devil doing a news broadcast, and you get to see what happens if you succeed or you fail at an event. Even though it looks cute, but it can get boring very quickly.84 views -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 149 Parappa The Rapper
thecchannelI like Parappa The Rapper I really have nothing against him but the game itself is just impossible!!! It's like serving Gordon Ramsey fully cooked chicken but it's still pink in the middle. How is that even possible? Yeah this game is just plain broken, out of control, disfunctional, unplayable, stupid, and hard to get into. I even had to go through a tutorial to learn how to play the game and still I can't even get pass the first stage of the game. That's right I been playing this game for 20 minutes and I haven't even gotten pass the first stage of the game. I just about had enough of this shit. Kick, Punch, It's all in the mind If you wanna get creamed Then this game will beat you it will always teach you a lesson you can never win Now this game sucks sucks Lame Lame Shit Shit and Garbage Garbage One more now Sucks Sucks Lame Lame Shit Shit and Garbage Garbage Don't get cocky because this game is cocky now let's move on to the next jokey now Boring Boring Unplayable Unplayable Joke Joke Broken Broken Once more now Boring Boring Unplayable Unplayable Joke Joke and Broken Broken Oh yeah I see you're getting lamer This game is not getting better.116 views -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 148 Ehrgeiz
thecchannelSquaresoft did not just made RPGs. They also made racing, action scrolling and even fighting games which brings us to Ehrgeiz. This is when fighting games turned to 3D where you move around freely, jump around all over the play, and even perform combos and special moves wherever you like. The gameplay is quite good and enjoyable I will give it that. But the moves are just hard to perform. At least I can do Yoyo Yoko very easily. Not only does it have the arcade game of Ehrgeiz it also has 4 different mini games and a whole RPG. The cool thing about this game is that you can play as characters from Final Fantasy 7 like Cloud, Tifa, Vincent, Yuffie and yes even the greatest villian in the franchise.....Sephiroth!!! It sucks is that if you beat the game with FF7 characters you get no ending. That is why I chose Yoyo Yoko. I played this game twice because I also wanted Yoko in her school uniform.97 views 1 comment -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 147 Akumajo Dracula X Gekka No Yasokyoku
thecchannelNow this game is much much much better than the piece of shit Choro Q3 that I was just playing. Anyway ever heard if metroidvania? This is the game that invented a whole new game genre. Let's go back to the greatest year in the Playstation era which is 1997 and what games do I wanna play? There is Final Fantasy 7, Wild Arms, Klonoa, Rock Man X4, and of course this game. This game was released in the U.S. as Castlevania Symphony Of The Night. It's the sequel to Akumajo Dracula X Chi No Rondo. (You can figure that out because the game starts you at the final stage of Chi No Rondo.) After that you play as Alucard who is the son of Dracula and he once fought alongside Ralph C. Belmont in Akumajo Densetsu. This is more of a RPG because you gain levels, spells, weapons, armor, magical items. Along the way you meet older versions of Maria and Richter. Something isn't right about Richter? Why is he acting all evil? I won't spoil it for you. You have to explore a huge castle to solve puzzles, find hidden passages and fight enemies from Chi No Rondo as well as new enemies. The bosses are not that tough but if you reach a high level then you're good to go. The game has multiple endings and depending how you play the game or when you fight Richter. It's a classic among the Qonami game library and the music and gameplay here is worth replaying. It has a very high replay value to me like Final Fantasy 4. I could've used a trick to beat this entire game in less than 2 hours but I decided not to. Maybe another time.96 views -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 146 Choro Q3
thecchannelIt's a cheap racing game with terrible steering and the controls in this game sucks ass. That's all I got to say about this miserable piece of shit. Sorry to make this short but I just can't handle this piece of shit.80 views 1 comment -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 145 RPG Tsukuru 4
thecchannelIt's time to make another short RPG in RPG Tsukuru 4. Oh Snap! This is actually pretty good. You get to give your character classes, summon spells, and combos. The battle system resembles the final fantasy games and the game editor features KANJI!!!!!! which I can't read. But luckily I managed to translate most of this ahead of time and hopefully I can make something solid out of this. This game was never released outside of Japan. I wish it was because this game is pretty awesome in my opinion.131 views 2 comments -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 144 Bust-A-Move 2 Dance Tengoku Mix
thecchannelThis game was released here in the U.S. as Bust-A-Groove 2. It's pretty much the same thing as the first game. Now when you hit the arrows they blink dark. The music here is just as fun to listen to as the first game. There are new characters in this game as well as some returning characters from the first game. As for the new characters you get a car hop waitress. A dancing zombie. An overly happy japanese kid and a strange panda bear looking human. Robo-Z makes a return but now it is robo-z gold and you're dancing against it on a helicopter. Now Kelly is wearing a sexy police uniform and it looks like she grew up from that baby costume. (I still don't know why she was in a baby costume?) At least you still get to play as Heat, Strike and Shorty which are the only good characters in this game. Other than that it's basically the same game as the first game but you can unlock new characters by doing stuff. One more thing I wanna mention is that in the japanese version you get to see actual character endings. That was cut in the U.S. version which sucks.168 views 1 comment -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 143 Ridge Racer High Spec Version
thecchannelThis came with Ridge Racer Type 4. It's pretty a demo disc of namco games for the playstation and it includes Ridge Racer High Spec version which is an enhanced version of the original arcade game of Ridge Racer. It also included the original version of the game which is pretty good and demos of other Namco games. Oh Snap!! It has Tales Of Destiny!!!!! Tales Of Destiny was a legendary RPG from namco and I still remember it to this day as my first playstation game that I got with my playstation for my 16th birthday. It plays like every other RPG. The battle system is awesome because you get to move your party and perform attacks and cast magic spells. The demo tells it all. I should go find a copy of Japanese Tales Of Destiny.115 views 1 comment -
My Japanese Video Game Collection 142 Ridge Racer Type 4
thecchannelI still remember playing the demo for this game when I first got my playstation back in 1999. The game was fantastic and it still is today. The soundtrack was awesome to listen to and I liked it. Later that summer I bought the full game and it was back in the day. You can choose between 4 teams to be part of and I chose Team Mappy. (I could've chosen Team Pac-Man). You have to race through a grand prix which consists of 8 races. As you progress through each heat you have to place either 2 or 1st place to finish the grand prix. There is also a garage which you can customize your own car which is cool. You also have the music player here in which you will want to listen to the soundtrack for this game because it is the best soundtrack for a racing game that I've ever played. The only problem that I found in this game is the drifting. You spin out of control sometimes and you lose control and crash into the walls. Then you got the other racer you are trying to get pass but he keeps crashing into you like a bumper car. You slow down when you crash into things so whatever you do. DON'T CRASH INTO ANYTHING!!!!102 views
