The Gilbert and Ellice Islands is a tiny group of islands in the Pacific Ocean. There were only about 30,000 people in the entire area in the early 1900s and it had one administrator - Sir Arthur Grimble. The islands were a Kahuna stronghold in those days – the mystic movement of the Pacific area. Automatic writing or psychography is writing produced whilst in a trance or semi-hypnotised condition. Automatic drawings are drawings done the same way. George Washington was the first President of the United States and the commander-in-chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States and presided over the convention that drafted the Constitution. Henri Michaux was a French speaking Belgian-born poet, artist, and writer. The Museum of Modern Art in Paris, Tate Modern and the Guggenheim Museum in New York all have examples of his paintings and drawings. He wrote travelogues, and Oriental culture became one of his biggest influences. The philosophy of Buddhism, and Oriental calligraphy, later became principal subjects of many of his poems and inspired many of his drawings. But he is perhaps best known for his drug experiments resulting in the book Miserable Miracle Mescaline. There is a tendency for drug users to assume that Michaux was a drug addict, but nothing could be further from the truth. He said: "Should we talk about pleasure? It was unpleasant ...". So why on earth did he do it? Henri treated the realms visited via drugs as a form of travel as his health declined so badly actual travel became impossible. He decided to travel via his mind instead of via his body. In order to actually cure illness, one must know the cause. If only the symptoms are addressed, there may be temporary relief or even the apparent disappearance of symptoms, because they have been suppressed, but there will never be a cure. Bernard Moitessier is one of the most famous round the world lone yachtsmen there has been. He was a French national, born and raised in Vietnam in the days when it was a French colony. Peter Sellers was an English film actor and comedian. He was both a superb character actor, but also a masterful comic actor, best known for his portrayal of Chief Inspector Clouseau in The Pink Panther series of films and his membership of the Goons, along with Spike Milligan and Harry Secombe. He had a Near Death experience in 1964 . His heart stopped for one and a half minutes and stopped seven more times before the doctor was able to bring him back. The repeated act of dying became for Sellers a pivotal point in his life. But it did not begin his spiritual interests, it simply intensified them. Although many have attributed Peter’s intense interest in the occult to his NDE, he needed no NDE to be convinced of the existence of ‘spirits’. Sellers regularly consulted mediums and astrologers. Film producers even submitted their ideas and scripts to Peter’s ‘spiritual advisors’. Peter also immersed himself in Eastern philosophy. At the time he said ‘Yoga has given me a tranquillity I wouldn’t have thought possible’. And via yoga and spiritual practises he managed to partly, though not entirely, water down the consequences of his childhood. But the film 'I’m all Right Jack' [1959] directed by John Boulting was a milestone for him as a character actor playing a serious role, as opposed to a comic role. Not only can the types of spiritual experience be classified , but they can in turn be grouped according to how they generally work. This first grouping we have called experiences of the inter composer type. In this type, the composer of each Higher spirit co-operates and communicates with other composers. In other words two or more spirit entities of some sort communicate. Nothing is assumed about the state of the "body" [if one exists] of each spirit, it can be there [bodied] or not there [disembodied]. It may not be there, because the person has gone "out of body" but is alive, or because the person is what we call "dead"- meaning without a body as we know it. The body can also be anything - an animal, an angel, a human body, a being of some sort. It can be from the terrestrial hierarchy or celestial hierachy. All these types of communication come within this class.
