This song - Rakim - comes from the Toward The Within live show at the Mayfair Theatre in Santa Monica, California, performed by Dead Can Dance - with Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry providing astonishing vocals. It was the last show at the theatre before it was damaged by an earthquake and had to close indefinitely. This was the first song, and has always been one of my favourites by the band. This is the 1998 single edit release of "The Human Game" by Lisa Gerrard and Pieter Bourke. Was released in longer form on the 1999 album "Duality". A beautiful track - with a wonderful video to accompany it. I may upload the video later. Lisa has always been a favourite of mine, both solo and with Dead Can Dance.
