Hidey The Spidey is a WILD Desert Blonde Tarantula - she is NOT a "pet" by any definition of the word. She is my neighbor; I feed her bugs and she lets me know when the rain is going to be bad by damming up her den. Desert Blonde Tarantulas are NOT aggressive - however, LOOK BUT DON'T TOUCH. The fangs of the Desert Blonde Tarantula are about the size of full grown housecat claws. They are NOT dangerous to humans and do NOT want to live in your house. They ARE, your own little ground forces against pests like cockroaches, crickets and other invasive ground insects.
