Patio Gardening

A quick, long overdue garden update!

Still exploring using cigar ash as soil amendment and/or compost ingredient. Additionally, experimenting with cellophanes as good carbon source in compost.

Been sidetracked with other projects, so haven't put much effort into patio "garden" this spring. A lot of what's growing either overwintered of self-seeded.

Got a few things growing still here in Zone 9B in November.

Sharing adding some raw materials to both the compost tumbler and the worm bin in mid-February. Didn't keep track of when these got planted; maybe towards the end of August (?). Anyway, they'll get used in whatever Mrs Sarge makes us for lunch tomorrow.
