The 1966 Space Ghost series was a classic American Saturday-morning animated superhero show produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. Created by the acclaimed cartoonist Alex Toth, the show featured the adventures of an intergalactic crime fighter and his teen sidekicks. Format: The original series, officially titled Space Ghost and Dino Boy, ran on CBS from September 10, 1966, to September 16, 1967. Each episode included two Space Ghost segments sandwiching one segment of Dino Boy in the Lost Valley. Characters: Space Ghost: The hero, voiced by Gary Owens, who had "Inviso Power" (invisibility via his belt) and power bands that generated various energy beams (heat, cold, force, etc.). His full name in the Coast to Coast parody was Major Dickson-Yates Thaddeus "Tad" Eustace Ghostal.
