Full Volume on Rumble! (Recommended) "Nookie" is a song by the American nu metal band Limp Bizkit. It was released on June 15, 1999, as the lead single from their second studio album, Significant Other (1999). In a 2008 interview with British rock magazine Kerrang, guitarist Wes Borland said the following about how the lyrical content turned out: "The music was cool, but I didn't like the lyrics at all. The funny thing is that 'Nookie' was actually the working title. When we were in the studio there was a porn magazine that had the word 'nookie' on the cover, so I was like, 'This song's called Nookie!', I never thought someone would actually run with it. I suppose it's all my fault. Fred Durst said about the song, "It's about my ex-girlfriend, how she treated me like shit, and I couldn't leave her, wouldn't get over it," he said. "She screwed my friends and used me for my money. I tried to figure out why I did it, and I figured I did it all for the nookie." ℗ 1999 Geffen Records Producer: Terry Date Producer: Limp Bizkit Composer Lyricist: Fred Durst Composer Lyricist: Leor Dimant Composer Lyricist: Wes Borland Composer Lyricist: John Otto Composer Lyricist: Samuel Rivers Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of Copyright Act 1976. As part of this innovative arrangement, Virgin paid Korn $25 million in exchange for a share in the profits of See You on the Other Side and the band's next album, including tours and merchandising. Virgin also received a 30 percent stake in the band's licensing, ticket sales and other revenue sources. The album was recorded in Jonathan Davis' home studio which was used for the previous album, Take a Look in the Mirror, as well as the Queen of the Damned soundtrack and score. Davis stated "We went through a lot of drama with Head leaving and getting off our label and making the album by ourselves." Regarding Brian "Head" Welch's departure, James "Munky" Shaffer recalled "There was kind of a moment where we didn't know what we were going to do and how we were going to continue. We kind of decided, 'OK, we can just sit back and we can put out a greatest hits album and end this or we can use this opportunity and instead of looking at it as a loss, reinvent what we do." Metallica _ The Unforgiven #remastered #2025 [-8.0 RMS]

Please SUB, LIKE and SHARE professional free contents. https://www.youtube.com/@Ultimastudiomix FOLLOW for new music release from Ultima: https://rumble.com/user/Ultimasounds Ultima mixed and remastered this multitrack recordings of "The Unforgiven" by Metallica to bring it into the Ultima Dimension! Full Volume on Rumble! (Recommended) "The Unforgiven" is a power ballad by American heavy metal band Metallica. It was released as the second single from their eponymous fifth album Metallica (also known as The Black Album). The song deals with the theme of the struggle of the individual against the efforts of those who would subjugate him. The song has since spawned two sequels, in the form of "The Unforgiven II", from the album Reload, and "The Unforgiven III", from the album Death Magnetic. Lars Ulrich explained that the band wanted to try something new with the idea of a ballad. Instead of the standard melodic verse and heavy chorus – as evidenced on their previous ballads "Fade to Black", "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" and "One" – the band opted to reverse the dynamic, with heavy, distorted verses and a softer, melodic chorus, played with clean electric and acoustic guitars. The opening section contains percussive instruments performed by Ulrich, and also a small amount of keyboards. In the documentary "Classic Albums" Metallica: The Black Album, James Hetfield could not identify where the horn intro was taken from and explained that it was reversed so its source would be hidden. Kirk Hammett said his solo was a last minute improvisation of "raw emotion" after the ideas he came with at the studio ended up not working. Pleased with the result, Hammett said it was the starting point of him playing less scripted solos in future songs.
