We will be looking at occurrence of this word and how it proves that Jesus is God. This will get into the Greek but I'll do my best to keep it understandable for everyone. Jesus is the English name for Ιησους which comes from the Hebrew word Yeshua (ישׁוּעה) which means "salvation" and "YHWH (Jehovah) saves". There are some people in the OT called "Yeshua", but the word is usually translated "salvation". We're going to do a study of those instances.
