“We could be facing a worst-case scenario,” said Nicolas Turza, a Branch Chief at the Department of Defense, during an undercover date with an OMG journalist. Turza, whose role places him in a position of influence within the Pentagon, openly expressed opposition to the Commander-in-Chief. Referring to President Trump, Turza stated, “The same guy who tried to overthrow an election is just, like, truly setting us down a path of dictatorship. He’s illegitimate. He’s terribly immoral, breaking every norm. We’re going to resist him. Everything he does.” He added, “I’m a very patriotic person, and I’ve never been less patriotic.” Turza also criticized Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, saying, “This is insane… That’s not a good reflection on me. That’s a bad reflection on Trump… Nobody I know should be the Secretary of Defense.” He questioned Hegseth’s qualifications, calling him “insanely young to be the part” and adding, “he wasn’t that high up in the military.” Discussing the Pentagon's culture under the current administration, Turza revealed, “I think they don't care who they hurt… They do a lot of the things that they do to enact a change that they see is making America in a populist, conservative framework that is more traditional, even if that means being sexist or racist or chauvinist.” When asked his personal opinion of the president, Turza didn’t hold back: “The worst thing about him is his utter lack of moral principle… The second worst thing about him is how stupid he could be.” OMG has reached out to the Department of Defense and Nicolas Turza for comment.

The Glenview Police Department in Illinois dispatched Detective Kevin Conroy to the home of an undercover OMG journalist, following the release of a hidden camera investigation into now-former State Farm executive Haden Kirkpatrick. The officer cited an alleged violation of Illinois’ ‘eavesdropping statute,’ also known as 720 ILCS 5/14-1, and indicated the journalist could face a low-level felony charge. In the hidden camera footage, Kirkpatrick criticized California wildfire victims: “People want to build in areas... for their ego. But it’s also a f***ing desert,” and confirmed State Farm’s calculated exit from the state’s insurance market, citing a potential $5 billion shortfall: “We’re overexposed here… so we’re going to cancel these policies.” He also acknowledged bias in hiring, stating he instructed HR to “find me the demographic profile of America in 2040,” which ultimately led to his termination and prompted his complaint to authorities. Detective Conroy, who has reportedly never charged this statute before, is expected to explain its application to the state’s attorney. Glenview Police attempted to bring the journalist in for questioning, raising serious First Amendment concerns. This is a retaliatory act against constitutionally protected journalism and a threat to press freedom. James O’Keefe brought newly released undercover footage to Washington, D.C., seeking public reaction to a Pentagon official’s admission of internal resistance against President Donald Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. OMG’s hidden camera footage featured now former Department of Defense Branch Chief Nicolas Turza, who was caught stating, “We’re going to resist him [Trump]. Everything he does.” Turza also called Trump “illegitimate” and accused the administration of pushing a regressive and “dictatorship” agenda. While approaching a group of people to discuss the footage, O’Keefe encountered a woman known as “Jojo,” a field trip organizer from Pennsylvania. Jojo repeatedly attempted to block the conversation. “I’m a journalist. My job is to inform the public,” O’Keefe said during the exchange. Jojo quipped, “I think you're not legit.” “You think I’m not legit?” O’Keefe asked. Jojo didn’t hold back. “I think you’ve done some really nasty things,” she replied. When asked to name one example of something “nasty” she claimed O’Keefe had done, she didn’t respond, instead returning to waving her pom-pom stick and attempting to cut off the interaction. Despite Jojo’s disapproval, some students in the group showed interest in the footage, with one recognizing O’Keefe and voicing support, shouting “We love you James!”

“We have not changed, if you noticed, our core values on our website,” stated John Nicklow, President of Florida Institute of Technology, in a secretly recorded board meeting provided to O’Keefe Media Group by a source. In the recording, Nicklow speaks candidly with faculty and administrators about the need to modify language in public-facing documents and course catalogs to avoid becoming a target for state and federal defunding efforts. “We are going to do what we do, let’s not unnecessarily put a target on our back,” Nicklow furthered. Nicklow described direct pressure from Governor Ron DeSantis’ administration, revealing, “These people are just looking for words, okay?” referencing how language about “gender expression” on a Title IX page drew attention from Gov. Desantis. “If it then hits NSF [National Science Foundation], we lose millions of dollars,” he warned staff and educators, noting that the legislation extends to the university’s ability to secure federally funded research grants. “We are seeing specific projects being pulled… because they had the words in executive summary of ‘climate change.’” His recommendation: “If you word it as surveillance and defense, it will probably get funded.” Nicklow didn’t hold back in his assessment of driving political efforts, stating, “They are not smart people,” adding, “They are simply searching, whatever comes back on [the] web, searching without understanding.” Despite the warnings, Nicklow maintained support for educators, “You’re not going to get fired for teaching those [DEI] courses,” assuring faculty that the university’s General Counsel would back them if issues arose. Nicklow recalled conversations with legislators, claiming, “They didn’t know that overhead keeps the lights on.” “I had frank conversations with our congressmen, and they had no idea,” he said. When questioned about how to navigate the changing environment, he concluded: “Well, you don’t get to pick and choose which parts of diversity community you support and which you don't. More than three years after an FBI raid disrupted his home and newsroom, James O’Keefe has finally received his confiscated property: two iPhones. The devices arrived with a receipt for property from the United States Department of Justice. The form was signed by Special Agent Anthony Kosola, the very agent who was present in O’Keefe’s apartment during the November 2021 raid. Inside the package was a breakdown of the items seized: an iPhone 12 Pro Max and an iPhone A1921. The phones, returned without warning, still held a charge. “The last text messages on one of the phones were from November 6th, 2021,” said O’Keefe, “the day after the raid.” He also noted one message to Fox News host Jesse Watters and a screenshot sent to his lawyer regarding a meeting the morning after the incident. Curiously, the other iPhone only contained messages up until July 24th, 2021, months before the raid itself, raising questions about what may have happened to the data during the government’s custody. O’Keefe called the raid “unconstitutional” and announced a forthcoming lawsuit against the Department of Justice. He pointed to the delay in the return of his property as a symbol of bureaucratic abuse and the erosion of protections for journalists. “If it takes them this long to return your property to a newsroom,” he said in the video, “good luck getting the Epstein list.”

"I heard you had a really bad day. You're about to have a worse day," James O'Keefe stated, addressing James Welch, a National Institutes of Health official recently caught on hidden camera revealing he counsels researchers to alter language in clinical trial protocols, specifically replacing the term "race" with "ancestry," to evade oversight. “This is you on camera,” revealed O’Keefe. O'Keefe pressed Welch about his role in modifying terminology, asking if it was deceitful to replace "race" with "ancestry." Welch denied the claim, repeatedly saying, "I didn't lie,” affirming that he suggested altering the language "for scientific accuracy." As the encounter continued, Welch attempted to flee in his Tesla. Despite appearing eager to disengage, Welch rolled down his window and continued the discussion. "I believe in good science. I believe in protecting the people," Welch stated. O'Keefe challenged this reasoning, questioning how the alteration could be scientifically accurate. Welch fired back, "I'm an expert. You're not." O'Keefe referenced a text message reportedly sent by Welch to an undercover journalist, in which he described the situation at work as "a bloodbath" with people losing their jobs. Despite the tension, Welch continued to assert that his actions were justified. Welch replied, "I care about people,” adding, “You don't care about people or their health.” O'Keefe rebutted, stating, "Of course, we care deeply about people. We want people to know what's going on in their government." He concluded by pointing out the common reactions he encounters during such investigations: "They always either run away, assault me, call the police, or say nothing. That was like everything but calling the police right there and assaulting."

“I had to go and look at what was leaked as far as the banned words… and figure out what to suggest and choose,” admitted James Welch, a National Institutes of Health genetic counselor, revealing the extent to which he is coaching researchers to manipulate grant applications in order to bypass federal restrictions. Welch, who works at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, was caught on hidden camera explaining how he helps principal investigators (PIs) at the NIH adjust their wording to avoid scrutiny from government oversight bodies, including the Department of Government Efficiency. "There are banned words that they're [DOGE] cutting grants for… Two of the words are ‘women’ and ‘female,’" Welch revealed. Welch detailed how he actively advised a researcher to alter the language in a study on cortisol levels in Black and White women, ensuring it would not trigger red flags in the grant approval process. “Just make it not the primary objective, make it a secondary objective, and change the word ‘race’ to ‘ancestry,’” he advised. Welch also acknowledged that NIH’s intramural research programs face fewer barriers than extramural projects funded at universities, stating, “We can do it [microdialysis] if we have the money,” highlighting the power NIH insiders wield over approving their own research. Welch also made comments about purchasing firearms and potential retaliation against individuals at the NIH. “My mom told me today not to shoot anybody because I’ve been buying guns,” he remarked. An internal email, obtained by The Citizen Journalism Foundation from an anonymous source, reveals that Justin M. De La Torre, Chief Patrol Agent for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (USCBP) Yuma Sector, issued a memorandum directing agents to take an “aggressive posture” by pursuing all available prosecution charges. Last week, Border Patrol whistleblower Agent Monica Cruz, formerly stationed in the Yuma Sector, exposed how USCBP routinely releases teenage smugglers, ages 14 to 17, back to Mexico after apprehension. With no legal consequences, these juveniles repeatedly return to smuggling operations, running the same routes time and again. The memo highlights an update on “Prosecutorial Effectiveness and Maximization,” aimed at “expanding on all prosecution charges available,” ensuring consequences for illegal border activity. However, it fails to address the loophole that allows juvenile smugglers, known as “foot guides,” to operate without facing prosecution. CJF reached out to Justin M.
