Look I believe in the Resurrection and the afterlife. I do not believe He ascended to Heaven with 500 witnesses this would have led to mass conversions in Jerusaleum. It did not because it did not happen. If they had that number of witnesses, do you not think everyone in Jerusaleum would have known of this and believed. His brother was stoned to Death in Jerusaleum for his belief in Jesus not many years later as confirmed by Josephus. Why would the people of Jerusaleum do this if there were 500 witnesses to Jesus ascension? It just does not make sense. There were only around 50k people living in Jerusaleum at the time.
