Ecclesiastes 2018

Eccl 12:13 The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. This is the meaning and purpose of life itself. We are to fear Elohim and keep His commandments because this applies to every person (Deut 6:2-9, 10:12-13, Psalm 111:10, 112:1-6).

Eccl 8:15 So I commended pleasure, for there is nothing good for a man under the sun except to eat and to drink and to be merry, and this will stand by him in his toils throughout the days of his life which God has given him under the sun. Once again, Solomon concludes that the only good for a man is to eat, drink, and be merry and be satisfied.

Eccl 6:10 Whatever exists has already been named, and it is known what man is; for he cannot dispute with him who is stronger than he is. Man cannot control his own destiny. He cannot dispute with His Maker who determines each man's destiny. Isaiah 45:9 “Woe to the one who quarrels with his Maker— An earthenware vessel among the vessels of earth! Will the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you doing?’ Or the thing you are making say, ‘He has no hands’?

Eccl 5:9 After all, a king who cultivates the field is an advantage to the land. A king who actually works is a benefit to the land and the people.

Eccl 1:9 That which has been is that which will be, And that which has been done is that which will be done. So, there is nothing new under the sun. Eccl 1:10 Is there anything of which one might say, "See this, it is new"? Already it has existed for ages Which were before us. There is nothing new. There are only things that existed previously. Even electrical and electronic items are made from materials that have always existed. Man's efforts are merely the stacking of blocks that Elohim had already created.
