After arriving stateside, one of the gangsters kidnaps the other's daughter - and it's up to our unlikely heroes to save the day.

However, Darwin has beaten him to the punch, and Wagstaff hires the wrong men: Baravelli and Pinky. Desperate, Wagstaff has Baravelli and Pinky kidnap the real players.

To make matters worse, the neighboring state sends inept spies Chicolini and Pinky to obtain top secret information, creating even more chaos!

Aiding Judy in saving the sanitarium are Dr. Hugo Hackenbush, a horse doctor illegally employed as the sanitarium director; Tony, a helper at the sanitarium; and Stuffy, a jockey formerly employed by Morgan. Judy's boyfriend, Gil, a singer, has invested all his money in Hi Hat, a race horse he hopes will win enough to pay off the sanitarium debts. After Gil figures out the horse is a jumper and not a racer, the boys try to win a major steeplechase race, while Morgan and his men try to prevent the horse from getting onto the race track. Obligatory appearance by Margaret Dumont as the wealthy hypochondriac who might also save the santitarium from financial ruin.

Seiter Synopsis: Gordon Miller, a small-time theater producer, wants to premiere a play by a young new playwright, but he needs to find a financial backer before he can begin preparations for the show. In the meantime, he has taken up residence with the 22 members of his company in the hotel run by his brother-in-law. When it is discovered that he owes the hotel a considerable sum, they threaten to evict him, but Miller, with the complicity of his faithful Harry Binelli and Faker Englund, will manage to avoid it and, in addition, he will finally manage to premiere the play.
