Let George Do It

(October 18, 1946) Cousin Jeff Williams asks George to find him a girl friend, one who likes pigs + Since setting him self up in an office as a freelance detective George Valentine has so far met with fair success, he’s had plenty of clients but not all of them have paid up. That, hasn’t discouraged George, he’s an optimist. But then his next client turns out to be his long lost cousin Jeff Williams who wants George to find him a woman that could put up with him and his 57 pigs.

Mr. Winters, George Valentine's first client, is murdered right in George's office! The body disappears, Mrs. Winters disappears, even George's secretary disappears! + George Valentine has been out of uniform only a few weeks blessed with an abundance of energy, adventuresome spirit and not too much money, he has sunk his last dime in office rent a few pieces of furniture and an ad in the classified section of the daily paper. An ad, which reads, “Do you have a crime that needs solving? Do you have a dog that needs walking? Do you have a wife that needs spanking? Let George do it”. Now three days have passed and George is still anxiously waiting for a call when suddenly the door bursts open.
