(2009) It is the year 3032AD and the United Earth Systems have been alerted to illegal worm-hole activities occurring on the Asteroid mining colony, Palermus IV. Chief Inspector Winnifred Whackerman (Dodge) and Lt. Julius Johnson (Glickman) are dispatched to investigate Commissar Lev Brownsteen (Farrell) who rules Palermus IV as a Communist dictatorship. As the investigation begins, Julius Johnson meets and becomes smitten with Natasha Pentupp (Hiestand), daughter of the wealthy Heiress and Matriarch of Palermus IV, Margaret Pentupp (Messersmith-Glavin). Shot entirely in Oregon over the summer of 2005, Clint Sargent and Jeff Dodge have created a contemporary psycho-drama western that studies loyalty, fate and bar culture. Clocking in at a swift 50 minutes, "Go, Cowboy, Go!" is an independent short with many influences, including "Urban Cowboy", "Two Lane Blacktop", and "Easy Rider". "Kyle Black: A Darge Tribute" A graduate of The Dalles High School in 1991 and later moving to Portland to further his education in art, Kyle joined forces with Clint Sargent and Jeff Dodge to create the contemporary Western tale, "Go, Cowboy, Go!" Shot on a shoe string budget comprised of volunteer labor, "Cowboy" was completed and screened in Portland on January 26th, 2006. Kyle was the owner of Black Sheep Screen and Sign as well as one of three owners of a store Made in Milwaukie. Kyle’s talents were many. He enjoyed art, graphics and especially enjoyed riding his Harley and was a founding member of Poor Sports motorcycle club. He also enjoyed his classic Camero that he had plans of restoring. Kyle and his father had a shared appreciation for gun collecting and spent many an hour swapping stories and information about them. Kyle enjoyed spending time with his friends and loved to have fun. 1995 - 1997 Portland, Oregon After years of study and experimenting, Jeff S. Dodge finally began airing some of his first movie projects and producing at e Portland Cable Access. As his first film, “Templeton”, made its' May debut, Clint Sargent had simultaneously finished his education in Eugene and was returning to Portland for re-settlement. By the time he’d caught up with Dodge, Sargent discovered that Dodge was already living with the illustrious Jim Melon and working toward new video projects starring Melon.
