Double bill of Indiana Jones, by request from an earlier community tab poll - you chose it! The year is 1936. An archeology professor named Indiana Jones hears from a museum curator named Marcus Brody about a biblical artifact called The Ark of the Covenant, which can hold the key to human existence. Jones has to venture to vast places such as Nepal and Egypt to find this artifact. However, he will have to fight his enemy Rene Belloq and a band of Nazis in order to reach it. In 1935, Indiana Jones teams up with a nightclub singer named Wilhelmina "Willie" Scott and a twelve-year-old Chinese boy named Short Round, and is tasked by Indian villagers with reclaiming a rock stolen from them by a secret cult beneath the catacombs of an ancient palace. Don Hewes and Nadine Hale are a dancing team, but she decides to start a career on her own. So he takes the next dancer he meets, Hannah Brown, as a new partner. After a while, this new team is so successful that Florenz Ziegfeld is interested in them, but due to the fact that Nadine Hale also dances (and stars) in the Ziegfeld Follies, Don says no. Despite the fact that he is in love with Hannah, he keeps the relation with her strictly business. So Hannah is of the opinion that he is still in love with Nadine, and her suspicion grows when he dances with Nadine in a Night Club Floor Show. This 1948 Irving Berlin classic, starring Fred Astaire and Judy Garland, was given the tagline, "The Happiest Musical Ever Made" It is one of my favorite Easter traditions and I look forward to sharing it with you! Double bill of US comedies starring Clint Eastwood. In 'Every Which Way But Loose' (1978) Los Angeles trucker Philo Beddoe (Eastwood) is less than delighted to win orangutan Clyde in a fight. Together, the unlikely twosome set out to track down Philo's lost love, a country and western singer (Sondra Locke). Along the way they get involved in various brawls and escapades. In the sequel, 'Any Which Way You Can' (1980), Beddoe once again hits the road looking for a well-paid brawl. The purse this time round is offered by an underworld king, whose boxing champion has gained such a reputation that no-one dare face him. Philo, however, knows no fear and can always rely on the back-up of his trusty orangutan sidekick, Clyde.
