Wake Forest Talk

There were about 75 people at the gathering mostly kids. I kept the talk simple but what I was seeking to bring is deep. Being the light of the earth with Jesus burning on the inside of us is critical in these last days. That was the basic message. The Eternal Word (Gen. 1:1-2:3 ) 1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. Luke 23:44-46 Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’  Having said this, He breathed His last. —- Gen 1 The History of Creation (Gen. 2:4-9; Job 38:4-11; John 1:1-5 ) 1 ¶ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 ¶ Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night.
