It mainly depicts the story of Sun Wukong, Pigsy, and Monk Sha, who protect the Tang Monk on his westward journey to get scriptures, encountering eighty-one difficulties along the way, subduing demons and subduing devils along the way, turning dangers into difficulties, and finally arriving at the Western Paradise and obtaining the true scriptures.
