Knowing how to explain your faith to others will help you evangelize the world. MAKE NINTENDO CORE GREAT AGAIN! This channel is primarily dedicated to uploading the short-lived genre known as "nintendo-core". I MUST SPECIFY! I am making some changes, as I am going to begin uploading some of other genres of music I find myself really fond of. I have been going down a path of discovery when it comes to Chinese music as of late and I would love to share what I have found. It's facinating to me there is a county of 1.4 billion people and you never seem to hear anything out of that side of the planet. My method of discovery is rather retarded as I just follow what YouTube leads me to. It's fun and rewarding as you never know where the squiggles will take you. What the fuck is Nintendocore? The genre is a unique combination of 8-bit chiptune sounds and synths meshed together with elements of metal-core and harder varieties. There is a wide variety of songs and many artists differ from one another. Though the term may not describe the entire genre as a whole, I think it's a pretty good fit. Some artists stick to heavy drums with 8-bit instrumentals, while others actually include guitar paired with vocals. It is said that the term nintendo-core was given to the genre originally by a group known as Horse The Band, the grandfather of the genre. Without a doubt, the group had a serious impact on the genre as a whole. It's thought that they were not too fond of the term, perhaps because it takes away the serious nature to this type of music. No matter the term, the love for this genre does not offend most people. Many spin-off artists popped up and began diving into the sound making their own contribution. Some good, Some bad. The genre was a short lived but very unique having it's spotlight in early YouTube culture from the mid 2000s up to roughly 2010. This channel is here not only so that I can participate in rumble, but share the music I will always appreciate no matter how bad some of it may be to others.
