1 FollowerTable-top Role-playing games are at the intersection of gaming and storytelling. Utilizing a stripped-down custom ruleset, we aim to create a character-driven, adrenaline filled game that ends up being something entirely different: an ad-lib low-fantasy movie determined by dice rolls. We hope that anyone who loves a good story can watch and enjoy. We are gritty like a "boy's adventure": violent but idealized. Think "Lord of the Rings," "Harry Potter," or "Indiana Jones." We love to play, we hope you equally enjoy watching. This is pure escapism for the enjoyment of all. PS - sandpaper is graded by grit, i.e. "30 grit," so we figured we'd do a play on words like "Critical Role." We roll 20-sided and we're gritty!
