The FED will now shrink the balance sheet by $95B/mo. They are also likely to raise rates by 50bps vs. 25bps in some cases. They have finally, and I mean FINALLY realized how bad the inflation really is. As you know, I've been screaming from the rooftops about this for a year. Well, the bow-tie guys are finally caught up. This is the problem with Academics running things. They rely on data and data takes time to accumulate. If they were actively involved in the market, they would have known this a long time ago.
