Today Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys team up with Dickey Betts, Jimmy Hall, Chuck Leavell and Butch Trucks to all sing the praises of the South and we finish the work week with a bang.

This clears the decks for the Mayor to come in over the weekend and do those segues of his where there appears to be hidden meaning, double entendres and things hiding in plain sight or something like that. But what does it all mean?

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
