This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure we wind up the St. Claire shoot with Thomas Parks hanging out in front of his Ace Hardware Store where he told us about the 1928 route 66 foot race from California to Chicago and then to NYC. Next is one of my favorite shoots that occurred in Staunton MO. We met Leo and Ed Thurmond at the church located at Ave W and Line Street. Here Leo told us some funny Route 66 stories and they sang a song called "I'll be good".
