Lone Star Family Health Center (LSFHC) was founded in 2002 to “provide high-quality, easily accessible health services to the underserved and the community at large.” In 2004, LSFHC became a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with the mission to strengthen, stabilize and expand patient access to healthcare services in Montgomery County. Since then, they have continued to expand their facilities and capacity to extend care to all community families and individuals.

B.I.G. Love Cancer Care

B.I.G. Love Cancer Care serves 8 hospitals across Texas and exists to meet the most urgent financial and emotional needs of families with children diagnosed with cancer on a weekly basis.
They do this by providing around 20 different programs each week, through things like granting weekly wishes for the kids, providing meals for the parents so they don't have to leave their sick child to get their own food, and other support services.
They are also hosting the 5th Annual fundraising clay shoot event "Clays for Kids" on May 6 at Blackwood Gun Club.
