According to multiple reports, when Tom Brady retired in February he intended to become a minority owner of the Miami Dolphins. Dolphin's owner Stephen Ross wanted to bring on Tom Brady as a minority owner and then lure Sean Payton to the Miami Dolphins to fill the role of head coach. The plan was then to obtain Brady's contractual rights to allow Tom to play for the Miami Dolphins. The entire plan unraveled with the Brian Flores situation.
