FACING THE WAR

This documentary is about the war in Donbass that has been going on for 8 years but most of the world had turned a blind eye on it. And keeps ignoring it even now when the political crisis hit the rest of Ukraine. The documentary was made back in 2015 by one of our filmmakers Yana Yerlashova that was working in the Documentary Dept. at RT channel at the moment. She travelled to the war zone in Donbass and talked both to local veterans who fought in WWII and now are witnessing a new war conflict and to the rebels who claim they stood up to fight against fascism.
