Does Size Matter? Comparing Magnum Revolvers for Wilderness Protection.

What is the impact of a revolver's weight and size when it comes to speed and accuracy in an emergency?

This video will delve into that question by testing two handguns at the opposite ends of the weight/size spectrum - a .44 Magnum Smith & Wesson Model 29-3 with a 10-5/8" barrel vs. a Ruger Security Six with a 2-3/4" barrel in .357 Magnum.

The times and group sizes of these guns are compared as they get used for passing the standard "Proof Of Proficiency" (POP) test Canadians need to pass before obtaining an "Authorization To Carry" license. The test's design also facilitates comparison of the standing position to the kneeling.

With the POP test's shooting data in hand, a brief analysis and some recommendations are then made; both in terms of ideal handgun choice and shooting tips as well.
