Listen closely.
This is Andrew and Deb who are a long way up stream.
They are completely abandoned by the “authorities.”

We are the only crew servicing this region with food, supplies and welfare checks.

They hadn’t seen another boat for 7 days and I’m pretty sure that was us too.

Apparently the department of community justice wanted us to stand down lol
Why I wonder? 🤔

We won’t be stopping or standing down.
We are getting prepped for the coming events and we are now a highly experienced and well organised unit.

In 6 weeks of expeditions,
we have only had one incident which was mark hitting a submerged object on dusk. Easy to do.
He’s injured but ok enough to be back on the job tomorrow.

All food and supplies were generously paid for by Aussie Helping hands.
It’s a privilege to serve that foundation and these wonderful people.
