This is the fourth kata in the Kamishin ryu system as taught to me by Shihan-dai Karl Quigg. It is the required kata for yellow belt with one orange bar (or white with four purple bars, as it was when I came up through the ranks.)

This is Kihon Godan as it was taught to me by Shihan-Dai Karl Quigg. This is the fifth Kata in the Kamishin -ryu Karate system. It is taught as one of two Kata at the purple belt level. In the Kamishin-ryu system as I was taught, the purple belt comes before the green belt. Unlike other systems, such as Shoto-kan, where green comes first. This is the seventh kata in the Kamishin-ryu system as taught to me by Shihan-dai Karl Quigg. It is the first Green belt kata. As I've said before the belt order in Kamishin-ryu is as follows: White, Yellow, Orange, Purple, Green Brown Black.
