E16 0002 McLean, Allenreed and Conway on Route 66 62

This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, and it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure we visited McLean's Devils Rope Museum, downtown , their ruins, the Phillips 66 Station and the Cactus inn. In Allenreed we filmed the Texaco 66 Station being restored. I love ghost towns and was excited to finally visit the famous Jericho Ghost Town in Texas. Route 66 becomes a service road as we head to see the Conway attractions and on the way, in Groom, we filmed the Iconic Britten leaning Water Tower. The main attraction in Conway is the Giant Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
