Live Edge Walnut Table

I built a coffee table from a gorgeous piece of figured black walnut from Oklahoma. More important than the wood, I find a lot of peace when working with wood so I put some extra work into this edit to try to convey how it makes me feel. Creating something with your own mind and hands is beautiful and fulfilling.

The music is "Disillusioned" by A Perfect Circle. The lyrics almost perfectly sum up my feelings. We need to spend more time connecting to each other.
