Bank Stocks Are Going TO RIP

The stock market has a data filled week, but bank stocks and any other industry sensitive to rates or inflation will be exciting. I go over the main events for the market this week and what to watch for. The two key events are the CPI on Tuesday and then the bank earnings on Wednesday to kick off earnings season. I go over the key to the bank stocks and why this earnings will be important, because it will give them a chance to catch up with rates. If the earnings are bad though, we will see another quarter of bank stocks following bonds. At the same time, there is still going to be a couple of other plays this week besides those, so I went over my portfolio and trades from Friday to highlight those. This week will be very interesting for markets as we will see the power of earnings and inflation data and see if that is enough to dislocate our markets from the rest of the world and ignore the conflict.
