The Unique Color Variations of the Eastern Gray Squirrel

Here we show two Eastern Gray squirrels with very unique color variations. You can see the one squirrel has a black body with a copperish red tail. The second squirrel has a mix of a dark brown body with red accents and a copper tail with gold and gray highlights. At our feeders we get many types of squirrels, but also many variations in color.
