Grinding and Polishing a rough Obsidian

This video will take you through the total process of how a rough obsidian will become a beautiful cabochon (in hyperlapse mode). Because this raw stone had no flat side and very thin edges we needed to stabilize it to make it thick enough to be set. We used a two part epoxy of JB weld to create a flat back and stabilize the very thin edges.
