Treatment of Scleroderma (Systemic sclerosis), An Autoimmune Disease - Possible in Ayurveda

Scleroderma, as its name suggests, Sclero means Hardening and Derma means Skin. So the definition of the condition goes like scleroderma is known as systemic sclerosis which is a rare group of diseases that involves hardening and tightening of the skin. The condition is potent enough to cause problems in the blood vessels, internal organs and involves the digestive tract as well. The condition can be life threatening or can simply hinder the respiratory functions.
In modern medication, the condition is not treatable. Usually at a certain level, amputation of affected parts of the body is also done.
