(RI) - Rep. McNamara Fails On Requesting Rep. Morgan Withdraw H7539 After Bill's Introduction

In all my years watching and attending committee hearings, I have NEVER seen the committee chair request a sponsor withdraw a bill AFTER its introduction but in full view of the committee and the public. The condescending tone of Rep. McNamara should cause you to be concerned that Republican representation is largely ignored.

Rep. McNamara, the Rhode Island Democrat Party Chair, also serves as the House Education Committee Chair, tries to have Rep. Morgan withdraw her H7539 Bill which takes the essence of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and make it a law in Rhode Island.
