Male Texas River Cooter, who fell over the dam last year and suffered an open fracture of his shell, finally has completed his rehabilitation and is ready to be released back to his home lake again after staying over the winter in the rescue. He's alive thanks to the Wyatt family, who spotted him in the storm channel on their walk, and could see that he had a broken shell.
