First Goat Kids of 2022! Brand new baby goats on the homestead

Our first goat kids of the year have been born! These newborn Nigerian Dwarf goats are adorable and already very playful – it won’t be long until they’re hopping and climbing all over everything. Kidding season 2022 is officially underway as Violet, our oldest and most experienced Nigerian dwarf doe, gave birth to three adorable kids. Kidding season is always exciting (this is our second go-round) and we’re still expecting 3 more does to kid in the coming days, weeks, and months (we’ll talk more about the struggles with Annie Oakley in a future video).

We raise these goats for their milk – they are not pets, but they live a great life here on our farm and we sure love having them around.
