BEARING THE CROSS OF GOD’S PEACE

26 And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

TO REVEAL THE LAMB!!! TGOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!

There's something about this morning's passage of scripture that greatly intrigues me, because in the midst of all this brutality, carnage and more so this figure of Simon the Cyrene really stands out to me, because he's a literal innocent bystander so to speak, who's caught up in a very brutal moment but yet God still has him as part of His plan of redemption. That while mark doesn't go into complete gory detail about the whole process of crucifixion, he takes time to share about Simon, and the importance of what he did. I think that's why I'm so very challenged by these questions from this morning's devotional, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will encourage and challenge you through them as He is me.

What “cross” have you been asked to carry?
How can you use this struggle to point others to Jesus?

What I'd like to do right now, is share some thoughts that God has brought to my heart on Simon, through this vlog I'd like to share with you tonight. Please join me in this vlog and know what it means to carry the cross, to find the lamb!

As I close this post for tonight, I want to reach out to those who are carrying their own “crosses” and let them know that they are loved by an almighty God, who will never let them down, and will always be there to make the burden of that cross easy to carry. That they can know that Jesus more than understands and sympathizes with the pain that they experience as they take up that cross every day and follow Jesus, because He’s been there too! I pray that you will ask God for the courage and strength to continue carrying that cross even when the journey is difficult, so that your light still continues to shine. Remember how Jesus kept His Heavenly Father's plan in view when He went through the steps to the cross, and don't be afraid to thank Him for conquering sin and death for you. Above all, I pray that if there's anyone reading this or watching this that does not know Christ as their savior, that you will make that decision to accept Christ today.
