How Pierre Trudeau Lost the Charter of Rights & the Hon. Brian Peckford Fathered It

ON THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF CANADA'S CHARTER OF RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS (April 17, 1982)

...the Honourable Brian Peckford should be acknowledged for his monumental role in Canada's patriation from Britain.

Then PM Pierre Trudeau's vision of the Charter was defeated and the Hon. Peckford's victorious.

Today, Pierre Trudeau's son, current PM Justin Trudeau, makes a mockery of the Charter that he attributes to his father after issuing his Statement by the Prime Minister on the 40th anniversary of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, “Forty years ago today, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms was adopted with the signing of the Proclamation of the Constitution Act, 1982 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and my father, Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau."

Through Justin Trudeau's authoritarian and overreaching rule--rebuked by Members of European Parliament calling him "a dictator" and accomplished by the COVID-19 Emergency Response Act and his recent coalition with NDP leader Jagmeet Singh---junior has created a discriminatory and divisive Canada never seen before by trampling on the fundamental rights and freedoms of unvaccinated Canadians and those dissenting...
