BFGC - Apr 19, 2022 It Is Finished

The last words of Christ before He died on the cross were, "It is Finished!" But first, He asked for a drink of water, so He could announce loudly that everything that was prophesied for Him had been accomplished. Yeshua was the anointed one of Yehovah, that had been promised as salvation for thousands of years. He focused on the people of Israel first, and demonstrated to them the signs and wonders that validated Yehovah's power and authority in His life. The Bible paints a picture of the crucifixion for us, that included shame, reproach, suffering, and multiple examples of unjust rulers. Yeshua endured punishment and death as our replacement, and died as the spotless lamb making the payment for our sins. The hope of every believer is the promise of our resurrection to eternal life, when Yeshua returns to rule the Earth as a loving and righteous king.
