This video ties together some odd coincidences. The presidents working group was gensler, yellen, powell and now we are seeing congress starting to regulate crypto. I see this as a push towards regulations and for the US government to act swiftly in order to catch up to the rest of the world. There are odd coincidences on how everything is being rolled out and in the video I point these coincidences out.

Biden met with Gensler, Yellen Powell, on June 21, 2021. Gensler just confirmed that stablecoins and crypto were discussed during that meeting. The push for regulations is the outcome from that meeting.

Remember Michael Barr? This was Biden’s pick for the OCC but since he was a board member at Ripple it was decided there was a conflict of interest. Michael J. Hsu is the Acting Comptroller of the Currency.. these speeches surfaced on google and I’d like to read two quotes.
In June, the OCC,
“FDIC, and Federal Reserve established a “sprint team” to provide greater clarity and
collaboration around digital assets and cryptocurrencies. In July, we were excited to join the
President’s Working Group in evaluating the risks of stable coins and developing policy
recommendations. These efforts seek to adapt to a rapidly changing landscape, in a coordinated
manner across agencies, to facilitate responsible innovation while limiting regulatory arbitrage
and races to the bottom”
